A little bit about myself!

I was born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1997. Since I was a child I have been passionate with drawing and painting. I had the chance to learn the art basics in the art academy Javier Rodriguez in my town, before starting my design engineering degree, taking a hiatus from the arts for a time.
Kalisdice, my online art persona, was born during the spring of 2018, on a day when I was missing my days of drawing.
From that day, I decided to start drawing everyday, and I continue to draw and improve as a self taught digital artist, working as a part-time freelance illustrator all while I am working in a retail company, developing my two professional careers at the same time.
In the illustration field, I have had the opportunity to work with authors and publishers from different countries (Ravensburger, Moon Young Adult...) creating illustrations for other creator's stories.
I am a person who enjoys working in teams for solidarity projects. In 2019 I was one of the organizers of the Artbook Phoenix (now Palm Prints on Instagram) to raise funds for Australia's forest fires, in charge of organizing and doing the layout of the final product.
Thanks to my studies in Industrial Design and Product Development, I have design knowledge that I like to apply to my projects, seeking a balance between illustration and design.
I work in digital, using Procreate on iPad
and Clip Studio on PC.
Clip Studio on PC. I also work with Photoshop and InDesign.
My pencils ara available in this link.
Although the whole process is by email, I always like to send step-by-step updates and receive feedback from my clients so that the result is the best.
My times are usually one month of waiting and one month of work. I try not to take more than two months for deliveries, unless the project requires it.

Continuous improvement is one of my main objectives, so I never stop training, striving to ensure that this continuous learning is reflected in the final illustrations.
